Sometimes, the greatest impact comes from building the right foundations early.
Through Future2’s Make the Difference Grants Program, funding is directed toward initiatives that help individuals build stronger financial futures and create lasting change within their communities.
As part of its Hub Empower program, HUB24 partners with organisations that share this goal, supporting initiatives that strengthen financial wellbeing and expand access to financial literacy education.
In 2025, HUB24 made an additional contribution to Foyer Oxford, extending the impact of the Make the Difference Grants Program and supporting programs focused on financial capability and independence for young people transitioning out of homelessness.
At Foyer Oxford, financial literacy is a critical part of the support model. Participants begin by learning how to manage everyday expenses, budget effectively and make informed financial decisions. From there, they build the confidence and skills needed to sustain employment, manage income and plan for the future.
As highlighted through the program, financial literacy is not just a skill, it is a foundation for independence. “A job will give you money, but if you don’t know how to manage those funds, you’re going to struggle.”
By supporting access to these programs, HUB24 is helping more young people build the capability and
confidence needed to transition into stable housing, employment and long-term financial wellbeing.
