Future2 exists to make a lasting difference in the lives of those who need it most. Through grants to community not-for-profits and charities, the Future2 Foundation supports young Australians who are financially and socially disadvantaged, helping them to productive, fulfilling lives in the community.
As the foundation of the Financial Planning Association, Future2 has the capacity to mobilise the energy and resources of more than 12,000 members who help raise funds, support local not-for-profits with grant applications and make donations.
The Future2 Board has set a strategy to achieve goals that make the foundation sustainable while also expanding engagement with the financial planning community and grant making. Our goals include:
- Future2 builds a $2 million corpus to enable grants to more than double over three years
- Future2 achieves high levels of engagement with donors, and between donors and grant recipients
- Future2 is accepted as their charity of choice by FPA members
- Future2 becomes integral to FPA Chapters moral purpose and activity
- Future2 establishes mutually beneficial, longer term relationships with grant recipients
- Future2 increases grants to $250,000 by the end of 2017
- Future2 builds the active participation of trustees, ambassadors, committees and volunteers
